We're on walks of discovery
It all started with a plan to walk one of the Caminos with friends. That original plan transformed into one of the "birds" inviting two others to join her when her original group couldn't go. This turned out to be a re-connecting of old friends from childhood in Palm Beach, Florida as well as years in Washington, DC. A desire to walk an ancient path in hopes of being open to listening and inspiration from Above. Healing, really.
We value freedom
Not everyone approaches getting onto the Path in the same way. We're all led in various ways. Each relationship is different. We celebrate respect for each other and the natural world around us. Our goal is Love.

This empty-nester goes walking. With every step, with every breath taken, all lightens up. Beauty to be spotted on the way, to be recognized as a reflection of life. Anticipating the many uuuhhhs & aaahhhs of a shared joy. Walking with my birdie-companions is reason to smile, inside and out. And shine.

I always wanted to be an ombudsman. For one reason I think its such a cool word. For another thing, I like helping people on a variety of topics. In my every day world, I get to help people organize. Now empty-nested, I get to use my love of travel to envision and plan these walks.

My favorite color is yellow. Always has been. It's the color of sunshine and it's hard to feel depressed when you're looking at such cheeriness. With so much going on in the world I hope to walk in gratitude, enjoying creation, closest of friends and searching for ways to make others' lives easier.
